Dr. Salil Latay - In Concert - Sukoon Bhare Nagme - Bhakti Ke Rang - BHAKTIYAATRAA

An album video is posted on a YouTube channel 3 ½ years ago. It is widely seen and appreciated. A gentleman from Madgaon (Goa) accidently sees and hears it and is mesmerised by the presentation. He frantically tries to reach the Lyricist, based in Pimpri Chinchwad and me – the Composer, Singer and the Narrator. After many attempts, he finally connects with me and invites both of us to talk and sing respectively at the famous Shri Gajanan Maharaj Math at Madgaon (Goa) on a very short notice. Travelling is done in several stop over stages, but all is wonderfully organised, managed, presented and appreciated by one and all at the temple.

My Vocal Sonata is presented for the first time in a temple....that’s another first. Sukoon Bhare Nagme on the Devotional Avenue called Bhaktiyaatraa. Interestingly the concert presentation used the hybrid model – Concert presented On Location and a Live Telecast on facebook.

I am indeed blessed and honoured. The trip was a memory for life on all counts including organising and hospitality. After Bengal, the beautiful state of Goa really knows how to respect and take care of Artists.

The lyrics of the devotional album on YouTube in Marathi that got this whole story running, sung by me in 2004 - Shri Gajanan Maharaj Shegaon Haripaath was released in a book form at this event. The book is published by Shri Gajanan Maharaj Math Samiti, Madgaon

Post the release, the Lyricist Mr. Satish Kale narrated the story of the creation of this album. Along with him was Mr. Ramesh Sapre - Scholar, Speaker and Preacher - who was all praises for the creation and later my concert.
