1. Who am I?
I am a Singer, a Musician (I play the Piano on the
Synthesiser) – a performing artist presenting concerts. Hindustani (The
language of the Indian Subcontinent – a mixture of Hindi, Urdu, Sanskrit,
Persian and even English at times) is my language of concert presentation. My
Genre or Specialisation in Singing is – Sukoonbhare Nagme (Equivalent to Easy
Listening Music in English). Spreading peace of mind and happiness known as
Sukoon in Hindustani is the mission of my life. I call it Mission of Melody.
2. What else do I do?
Apart from being a performing artist, I am a Song Composer –
I compose songs only for myself and my presentations on stage. I am also a
Seeker – a student about life around me and its impact on me. Yearning to
observe and learn everything that resonates with me and helps me live my life
to the fullest and strive to be the best version of myself.
3. What are my other interests in life?
Music – I explore all types – but certain genres like Western
Classical and Semi Classical, Easy Listening Music in English, Traditional and
Folk Music from all over the World, World Music along with Indian Light Music
are my preferred types.
Self Help, Self Discovery, Travelling and Tourism, Things
that travel – Be it Trains (Indian Railways is my first pick) or Commercial
Aircrafts along with all other modes of travel, Photography, Watching and
studying Documentaries and Films (Films that should inspire me or make me laugh
– I don’t watch other genres), History and Culture, Reading and Studying
Biographies, Research, Finding Solutions and seeking answers are my passions
and interests in life.
4. What to expect from this blog?
Anything and Everything that inspires me in life. It is also
a showcase into various professional and personal facets of my life – For I
truly believe and live by the words of the immortal song – What a wonderful
world!
5. What not to expect here?
Politics, Religious and Judgmental views. I am a World
Citizen and Eternal Traveler at heart and believe and live by the Indian
doctrine of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The World is one family!).
6. What is the language of this blog?
It is English – though the contents could also include my
thoughts in other languages – presented here in the Roman script.
