Dr. Salil Latay - In Concert - Sukoon Bhare Nagme

Mumbai...always the best place to present a concert and if it is for a Rotary Club? Kya Kehne...An icing on the cake.

Sukoon Bhare Nagme with Vocal Sonata presented at the combined Charter Day Celebration and Shukriya Night Event of the Rotary Club of Bombay – Kandivali.

Wonderfully organised, each song appreciated and sung along, it was a memorable presentation in recent times. All thanks to Rt. S. Ravichandran – the President RCBK (RY 2023-24), his team and each of the wonderful audience.

The event was graced by Past District Governor of Mumbai Rotary District Rt. Sunil Mehra (DG Rotary Dist 3141 RY 2020-21) seated on the extreme left. Also seen next to him is Rt. S. Ravichandran (President - Rotary Club of Bombay Kandivli RY 2023-24) and Dr. Salil Latay.

 Dr. Salil Latay - In Concert - Sukoon Bhare Nagme

A concert to remember. Shakuntal Kalaamandir – a cultural centre organised my Mehfil of Sukoon Bhare Nagme in the heart of the culturally vibrant area of Kothrud in Pune. My Favourites - Sukoon Bhare Nagme of Gulzar was the theme. 

The organising and response of the audience was super overwhelming. All thanks to the lovely audience and Dr. Vidula Sahasrabudhe of Shakuntal Kalaamandir, Pune.

Dr. Salil Latay – In Concert – As a Singer and Musician

A first of its kind for my Vocal Sonata format – Sukoon through Devotional, Philosophical songs, presented under the avenue of a theosophical, philosophical, devotional and spiritual discourse by noted scholar and orator – Mr. Avinash Vichare.

The talk was about Atmasanvardhan (Self Culture) and one’s life. While the talk was in Marathi, the songs based on this theme were presented by Dr. Salil Latay in Hindi.

Set in the picturesque setting of a remote village of Kolisare (40 kms from Ratnagiri in Konkan area of Maharashtra) at the famous Shri Laxmi Keshav Devasthan, the presentation was appreciated by all.
